A few comments before diving in today:
    • Glad you liked the Revolution / Half Acre collaboration On and On Part 3 @cheeseheadinMinneapolis ! I have Labour Day weekend slated to enjoy your four beers (New Beer Weekend should be four days for the Holiday). Can't wait!
    • Glad you enjoyed Hop Butcher's Double Grid @Blogjackets . I still need to rate it, but have prioritized trade and gift beers first, so hope it holds up.
    • I also love DeGarre @Beersnake , wanted to share this at Sheboygan, too many "whales" presented so brought back home.
Trying to get to sleep by 5 AM today, hopefully this cellar selection helps.

Cellar review thread link here. Bottom line drink fresh, but expect only a slight drop off after three years. May test out a 6 year old V. S. O. J (2018) later this week.

Perhaps Paul @champ103 is going under the alias Greg Easterling today as he played these two back to back to kick off the show overnight filling in for Matthew Hermes.

Good day BAs! Thanks @ChicagoJ for starting today's thread - and thanks for the clarification in the NBW thread of the bottle date - that's what I thought, but it's good to have my belief confirmed. That was the first Delerium Tremens I'd seen in the proverbial ****'s age so I grabbed it.

Today's New Breakfast Beer is surprisingly good - thus far the highest I've rated a brew from this brewer:

Final Impression and summation: 3.75 No bourbon or oak on the nose or taste. Distinctly cherry and tart. Quite tasty.
    Rating 3.7, rDev -4.9%

Now I'm going to have to re-review Sam Adams Cherry Wheat.

Happy Monday BA's! We're still getting the effects of hurricane Debby here. Over 6 inches of rain so far and bunch of branches down. Miraculously our power is still on, it was out about 4 hours overnight. I'm sitting out front with a French Toast Bastard and a peanut butter and banana sandwich watching the squalls blow thru ....

Today is a dreary and rainy day here in central MN. Might as well have a beer.

From a 16oz can with no date on it.
This is a clear pouring beer and golden in color. There's a good looking 2 finger white head. The head has good retention, and there's some good lacing on the glass.
The aroma is very full of grain. There's a hint of a floral element to the aroma.
The beer flavor starts off grainy. The grain then mellows out to a nice floral flavored middle. The beer then finishes up with a strong bitterness from the hops.
The beer is lighter, but not watery in the least. The hop bitter feeling lingers on the back.
Not bad at all. Very interesting beer.

Thanks Doug! We're ok with the rain, live up on a hill. The only risk is strong winds and all the 150' tall old oaks. Thanks everyone for the safe wishes! I'll check back in later with a lunch beer!

Drinking Orval Trappist Ale. This one is from 3/23 and it’s drinking quite nicely

I’ve seen some talk about the Doobie Brothers recently, I’ll be seeing them in concert next week. Michael McDonald is a talented musician, but I prefer the Doobies without him. This video shows the classic lineup less Skunk Baxter

FTELOS Brewery (Santorini. Greece) ‘Blue Monkey’.,., Cheers from the Island!

The name FTELOS was inspired by the local name of the area, which means “ridge” in the island dialect.
The signature beer is the Blue Monkey. A hip and adventurous beer with strong personality, inspired by the frescoes discovered in the famous Akrotiri archaeological site, on the south point of Santorini. Balanced, blond, aromatic.,.

    From a 12oz can dated 05/23/2024

This is a somewhat clear pouring beer and golden in color. There's a very thick white head - 4 fingers. The head retention is damn good, but there's no lacing on the glass.
Aroma is faint, but I do get a slight grain aroma here.
Flavor is creamy in nature. There's a bit of grain in here. Some floral elements. Slight bitterness on the backside.
Body is light and slightly creamy feeling.
Not bad at all and easy drinking.

Damn, this is delicious, but, again, I am below average. Oh, well, I am thankful that @CanConPhilly sent it to me.

From a 16oz can. No date on the can.

This beer is a dark brown pouring beer. When held up to the light, faint amber hues shine through. There's a 2 finger tan head. Nice frothy look to the head and good retention. Some clingy looking lacing on the glass.
Nose has a good hint of roasted malts and chocolate.
Flavor has a good bit of flavor. I get a ton of roasted malts. I get a good chocolate hit. I get a good coffee like flavor. There's a slight bitterness on the backside.
The body is very full for a 3.8% beer. Very creamy feeling. Smooth, with a bit of bubbly on the tongue.
This is damn delicious. Pleasure to try.

Break time BA's with a Fat Head's Sunshine Daydream and it's tasting great! Oil and filter changed on the CBR 929RR, brake fluid replacement next. Rain bands and wind intermittent, nothing major.
