NY themed IPA for the Jets and dare I say the Mets. This beer is very good, the most floral hazy I've ever had. It works well here. Cheers!

Good evening, BA. Wishing all the BAs in Florida a safe couple of days.

I'm drinking a new one, but not a new brewery. This is Secret Geisha Horizon from Temporal in Vancouver. A blend of imperial stouts aged in Blanton's bourbon barrels for 35 months conditioned on Geisha coffee grown on a secret family farm on a volcano in Guatemala. Locally roasted by Prototype Coffee. 13% ABV. Notes over in the stout thread. Cheers!

@Mickeyharris - I don't know if you've checked this band out, but these folks are keeping rock and roll alive, and I personally think they're excellent. I also find the video amusing and entertaining, but these guys are rock solid. Arrow is a great singer, one of the best rock and roll screams out there today - I like it when she sings:

"Do you like your hands dirty ,,, are you afraid of the dark"

She kind of reminds me a bit of Blondie vocally.

What's happening to Philly right now is probably going to happen to LA in the next game. ('jess sayin') This particular beer was brewed specifically for Wegman's.

And saw a crazy article the other day about what A.I. predicts some stars would look like if they were still alive. Evidently Hendrix turns into Morgan Freeman with Don King hair.

...I was getting pretty bored with the near non-stop India pale ale offerings from Outer Range and haven't had any of their beer for a few years now, but today I found not just one but two non-IPA beers...the first (a coffee stout) and the second this fine little number:

Outer Range Brewing Co. -- Camp Lager
    American lager
    ABV: 4.3%; pouring temperature: 47 °F; canning info: n/a
Source: local purchase (Weber St. Liquor)

Clear, golden yellow body; incredibly dense carbonation; thick, frothy head, white and sticky; nice spidery webs and flecks of foam stick to the glass. Very nice aroma; spicy with an almost mint-like quality; mild bread crust note. The taste brings light malt and biscuit-like qualities to the palate; mild toasted grain element; decent offset of hop bitterness; light herbal backdrop. Medium body; velvety smooth on the palate; delicate dryness.

This beer is another fine and rare non-India pale ale originating from Outer Range. I love the roundness and balance of the taste and the full, gently sweet and mildly dry mouthfeel. This is a dandy little beer.

From a 12oz can with no date on it.

This is a clear pouring beer and dark amber in color. There's a nice stream of carbonation bubbles rising in the glass. The head is 2 finger and slightly off white, frothy looking, and long lasting. There's some good lacing on the glass.
The nose has a nice aroma from the hops. I am getting some pine off it. I get a woody aroma from this beer.
Taste - This beer has a pine flavor that seems to change a bit, but maintains. I also get some woody notes off the flavor. I am getting a hint of citrus hops. The pine flavor clings in my throat.
The hops are somewhat sticky feeling. Fairly full bodied. Smooth feeling.
I am really digging this beer and it really seems to suit the season.
