True story. There's a couple kids on his team in a Little League all star tournament running parallel to the club league playoffs and the parents are already shouting out vacation dates in the text thread. Coaches say we have all summer haha. Cheers!

There's a hint of murkiness in this beer and it's golden in color. I have a 2 finger white head in this beer from the can. Head retention is good and the lacing is very sticky looking.
The aroma is a nice roasted coffee smell. There's also hints of grain in the aroma.
Taste - The grains hit first and they have a bit of sweetness to them. The coffee does hit fast and it is smooth and roasted tasting. There's a slight bitterness from the coffee.
Very smooth bodied. Creamy feeling. Slight bitterness from the coffee feeling.
I am surprised I have never reviewed this beer. It is damn tasty, and so glad I bought it.

#2, out for Mexican food with Mrs O. This beer is the best in the “beer with Mexican food” category, IMHO.

 

White Elm Wiz Knafeh-A Imperial Stout, 13% ABV. Pours thick and black, with a ring of light-brown bubbles that left an oily sheen. Aroma is amburana (cinnamon), honey, nuts, and chocolate. Taste follows with amburana and honey up front, chocolate and nuts late, moderately sweet, slightly bitter. Thick and smooth, with light carbonation. Overall, doesn't suck as much as I had feared. Could be interesting BA.

Knafeh is a middle-eastern dessert. If you like honey more than I do, then this is for you.
