At The Cookie Bar, with The Responsible Beer Drinking Club, in nearby Windsor, they had eight new beers on tap, each from a different Ontarian brewery--so I did two flights, with 4oz. pourings of each of them:
--Burdock Brewery (Toronto; my ninth)--5% Super Pilsner;
--Fairweather Brewing Company (Hamilton; my fifteenth)--6% Dream Pop: Pina Colada Sour;
--Farm League Brewing (Cambridge; my ninth)--5.6% Big Ticket Kolsch;
--Fine Balance Brewing (Kingston; my eleventh)--5.6% Marzen;
--Godspeed Brewery (Toronto; my twelfth)--4.7% Fukami Munich Dunkel;
--Rorschach Brewing Co. (Toronto; my ninth)--6.9% Hedonism: Strawberry Watermelon Sour;
--Rouge River Brewing Company (Markham; my ninth)--4.8% Zoigl Lager; and
--True History Brewing (Toronto; my fourth)--5.3% Nothing Special Helles Lager...

Kicking off the weekend with a fridge pull, one that has been there between 3 and 6 months, I'd guess. This Orabelle is a little more sweet with a hint less spice than I recall.


The beer fridge is surprisingly empty after the family took to it. The fresh hop beers they brought were enjoyed by all, though mostly by my GF and her side of the family. I tried them, but in a wild night that also involved a bunch of whiskey. The second round was enjoyed on the last night, one where I had to work the next day and I just didn't get into it.

Anyhow, little disappointed in the last couple games of the MLB league championship series. Apologies to @GreenBayBA for my wanting his team to win, as I am sure it has had an adverse effect, one whose negative effect is positively related to the proximity to the champioinship being chased.

A family friend is a regional author and owns a publishing house. He sent me his latest work, so naturally I needed a beer from Superior as I read it.
