Today, it threatened to rain, out here in McGregor, but has ended up being quite a wonderful day. Both cats were worried about the weather, and needed some extra soothing. First, it was my ninth brew from Milton, Ontario's Third Moon Brewing Company--their 6.5% flagship Bone Tree IPA). It was truly stellar, and Sundae heartily recommends it to anyone within earshot...



Next, also with Sundae, it was my seventh beer from Vankleek Hill, Ontario's Beau's All Natural Brewing Company--their 4% Lug Lite Light Lager...

Finally for today, this time with Gracie, it's the 5% Ripple Effect Pale Ale, from Beamsville, Ontario's Bench Brewing Company...

All three beers are also shown bookending articles on the cult classics Love Streams (John Cassavetes, 1984); Marnie (Alfred Hitchcock, 1964); and, in time for Halloween, perhaps the strangest film about a vampire ever, George A. Romero's Martin, from 1977, for no particular reason...



Tomorrow: Three more new beers for me to contemplate, from the following breweries:
--Brasserie Unibroue (Chambly, Quebec; my sixth beer from them);
--Big Rig Brewery (Kanata, Ontario; my fifth); and
--Burdock Brewery (Toronto, Ontario; my ninth)...

Hello BAs. Another rainy day here, 44°F and very windy. Good for ducks, moose, etc. Had to drive around a bit to TCB. Now home, the last order of business is beer. Gathering info that might lead me to believe that the rising cost of hops has a number of brewers shying away from wet/fresh hop beers this hop season. NTL I picked up a couple. However, today I'll start with this Hammerheart Åttebeint Hest Northern IPA. Cheers!!
