The most epic of grilling beers, if it can be found... A rauchbier. The style itself is just a perfect all around brew to match anything that's sitting over coals.

I generally lean toward paler colored brews that come in at under 6%.

I opened an aged Older Viscosity last year and it was pretty awesome. Didn't get much better than nursing that snifter while grilling slow and low in the early evening.

Not sure why, but Harpoon, the brand, means summer to me. So any Harpoon. IPA or an IPA variant. NOt winter warmer though

In all seriousness, Shiner Bock or Sam Adams Boston Lager.
These are almost always BYOB events and people complain if you bring something out of their comfort zone.

If it's just me then whatever I feel like drinking as ling as it isn't too heavy or hoppy. A good pilsener or pale ale will do.

Nothing like lump charcoal and that slow cook (hopefully with a ceramic). Now I think I'll get it fired up.

Everyone for a block will no it's goin' on and agree--about anything works when tending.

Jack's Abby Hoponius Union. It just always has been and always will be. When I think of grilling, I picture myself with a bottle of Hoponius Union in my hand
