    I thought Clown shoes chocolate sombrero was one of the better chocolate stouts I've had in a while. Such a well balanced beer at 9%. Couldn't taste any Chilie in it, which Isn't a bad thing. I honestly couldn't fault the beer.

    Ilkley The Mayan - I really like the chipotle/smoky taste in this one and it's not hard to find if your area gets it.

    "Fourthing" the recommendation of Mexican Chocolate Stout from Copper Kettle. Always easy to find on the shelf out here in Colorado, but pretty certain it doesn't get out to New York. Can't believe no one has mentioned Abraxas, certainly understand it's a special release once a year and not sure if it hits New York, but should be on your Mexican Stout bucket list. Love the non-subtle cinnamon taste in it.

    Also Pirate Bomb is a really nice example of this style. A lot better than prairie bomb.

    I have a Chocolate Sombrero question, I picked up my 1st 4 pack of it last night. Had seen it online and read some reviews and really wanted to try it. The label looked totally different from the pics I saw online. I Googled and discovered it's a "new" label. I can't exactly find out when they updated it. If it was semi recently maybe I can track down the old one. I really like the look of the old label, so much I ordered a t-shirt. But if the new label isn't that new I won't waste my time looking for the old one.

    I'm sure somebody here knows.

    For this beer, not really missing out, all the flavors are too subtle-disappointing, excited since they make amazing beers, left underwhelmed.

    It went from bombers to 4-packs this last year. That's probably when the change occurred.

    @Axtimusprime will know for sure.

    Don't know if it's been mentioned yet but I had Mexican Standoff from Due South at the Extreme Beer Fest and it was one of my favorites in the whole event.

    Belching Beaver Horchata Imperial Stout. Sweet not spicy. But definitely Mexican flavors.
