Definitely not on my 'wants' list. Seems all too 'gimmicky' for me, even more so at that price point.

OOOhhh..."Stemless" champagne flute...why didn't you say so earlier...of course I'll try it now...could you imagine drinking this from a glass with a stem? That's not metal.

Only 1 rating so far with no tasting notes. I am contemplating picking up a bottle tomorrow just for the hell of it.

I like Guinness Draught, I really and truly do. But everything else I've ever tried from them (except Smithwicks) and been total junk. Hell no.

If it had 50 reviews with a perfect score, I still wouldn't spend the money. There's too much other good stuff out there, and I'm thrifty.

Well, just uploaded my 1st ever formal beer review. The 1759 is a decent average beer but surely not worth what I paid for it. Lesson learned...

Pretty sure the packaging cost them $34. Saw it on the shelf earlier this week. Had to open the box to get to the bottle. Nice job, but no. Maybe at half the price I'd consider bringing it to a party of non craft drinkers.

Better ways to celebrate heritage than a successful marketing department. Try to source some poitin.

$32.99 at a store within 25-30 minutes of me that I every now and then venture to. That beer is one I just found out about, but that price is ridiculous. Speedway Stout is half the price of this beer! Guinness is gonna fail with this beer at that price.

Not at that price. If it were under $10 I'd give it a go. Any more just seems like way too much a risk. Even if I heard many rumors that it were great, I still would not pull the trigger at $35. Doesn't seem like a good place to try and enter the current market.

Would rather drink beer from Galway Bay Brewery and other real Irish craft breweries than support this pseudo Irish beer factory corp.

Unlikely. 10X or 15X overcharging seems more likely.
