I may be waving another red cape in front of my beer friends in Australia and New Zealand but that's not my intent. I am wondering if any of y'all have experience with "The Grainfather," which apparently got its start in NZ and is now trying to push into the US market via a crowd-funding site. It appears this system allows more home-brewer input, if you will, than the WW system (and at a fraction of the cost, which would appear to be a win-win). Would love to hear the thoughts of those who have used this. Thanks so much.

I have a few friends who own one. They love it. It is similar in many ways to the Braumeister from Speidel. Not quite as well put together as the German equipment and not quite as flexible but still very good.

For an all-in-one "mash-lauter-boil" setup with good temperature control, it is hard to beat at the price.

Thank you very much for the reply. Now, I may need to go take a look at the Braumeister!

WW looks great but at that price, I'd want to be sure about homebrewing.
