Worst beer you've tried

This one right here. On a scale of 1 - 10, it gets a -10 from me. Totally undrinkable. The smell of it alone makes me want to throw up. Ordered it once in a bar, and had to ask the waitress to take it away (I was still willing to pay for it, though, and did).

 

It was like drinking cinnamon water

Pounded it down. Felt immediately sick. Was tempted to pee into a cup and drink that. Would have tasted better the second time around… only because there is no way it got worse.

 

Union Craft Brewing Old Pro. Tastes like the bottom of a bag of salt & vinegar chips.

 

I forget if I have commented in this thread before but this stuff from the U.K. was without a doubt the single worst tasting beer I have ever bought*. Unbelievably vile stuff...I could only manage 2 sips before pouring it down the drain of my sink. I'll bet it would have cleared out any clog it had! Avoid at any and all cost!

*disclaimer: I knew beforehand what I was getting into when I put it in my basket..but goddamn!!!!

 

This^, not at all what I expected. Liquid pine needles, three sips is all I could handle.

 

Stop being bias. Heineken is stylistically perfect.

 

It's a tie between the rogue voodoo doughnut maple bacon and sun king did a beer with pine needles once that tasted like floor cleaner

 

So, you're not a fan of sour beers then.

 

That whole brewery is a sham, terrible stuff

 

Never had it, but the worst beer I ever had was the Modelo Chelada. I got a can for free and I still ended up drainpouring it.

 

For a long time it was Faxe Extra Strong but I recently tried Tiger Beer and it was god awful. Tasted like shame and regret

 

I don't mind some sours...I've enjoyed all the ones I've had by RR, a few I've liked from The Bruery....just can't stand Duchess.

 

Not a fair assessment - since he simply may not like that particular style of beer. Or just that beer. Sour is not a style.

 

Agree. I love Short's in general but this one was not my cup of tea at all.

 

A couple of weeks ago I had Punk'In Drublic by Coronado Brewing Company at their Imperial Beach location. It was SO BAD I sent it back after a couple of sips. I am not the type to ever do that, either. I usually enjoy most of their beers, but it was horrible!!!

 

Sam Adams Cherry Wheat. It tasted like that crappy liquid medicine when I was kid. Never again.
