    Citrus-dominant FTW.

I love a juicy, citrusy IPA. Nothing better IMHO.

I don't think these are incompatible necessarily. Some beers, like Noble Ale Works, or some of El Segundo's Stuff, is both citrusy and dank.

Citrus for the most part. A dank flavor is great in certain ipas.

Citrusy. I like IPAs that are insanely fruity, either citrus or tropical.

    They're not mutually exclusive.
Is that worse than straight bestiality?

I like both. I like pretty much all citrus and I tend to prefer that more often than not. I enjoy dank, but what I don't really enjoy is when it's overly oniony/garlic dank.

That's why you shouldn't do polls. What were you trying to accomplish with such a poll?

I like 'em as citrusy and juicy as possible. War Mullet and The Calling are prime examples.

Not that I can't enjoy and appreciate a more piney or bitter profile. Just a definite preference.

I love tropical fruit, but not super clean fruitiness, I need some of that muddy dankness in there.

I think damp would be a more aptly title for the type of ipa you are describing. I feel I can't be a proper beer connoisseur when describing my beer as having "dank" qualities.

I chose "Dank". Something about an Earthy/Resinous DIPA makes my Lupulin Bones Quiver! Yet my favorite IPA (Maine's Another One) does showcase both Citrus and Dank Aroma/Flavor Compounds.....

Voted citrusy, but wanted to vote for both.
Honestly depends on my mood, and the weather/environment I'm drinking. (What I'm eating/not eating plays a role as well)

If I have to choose one or the other it would be Dank although the word is not very appealing. Earthy would be a better choice (I think). I don't care for over the top citrus like a glass of grapefruit juice but a nice combination leaning toward the dank is preferred.

I have to agree. For me, it's about 75/25 citrus to dank. If the citrus is over the top, I like more heat rather than the onion/garlic notes.

Citrus. Love all that grapefruit, blood orange, lemony stuff. Currently obsessed with DuClaw Hop Continuum Blood Orange.
