Want it dry and dank. Want to taste cereal grain in background. Tropical fruit or citrus a plus. Dank a necessity.

As with the prior poll, I favor citrus. A bit of dank is good, but I'd rather a super citrus bomb than a deep, dark dank bottle.

Dank but not bone dry nor syrupy sweet. Hard to find.

Understood. What I'm asking is which profile you prefer. I am fully aware that citrusy and dank are not incompatible.

Citrus. I am a bit surprised how far ahead that is at this point. I definitely like a good grapefruit bomb. I do not like fruit beers, but I enjoy the ones that have grapefruit juice with them.

What the hell is "dank"? It's vague and loaded. Much like how people (and even some breweries) like to throw around the adjective "smooth". I don't ever recall learning how to identify "dank" or "smooth" in the beer judging course.

I dislike the aroma and taste of Buffalo Bills basement, so no dank for me.

Enjoy By is probably a prime example of an IPA that has both.

I was just being a donk. Carry on!

p.s. I can't choose one or the other. I like them both the same but at different times if that makes sense.

I do like them both, but I do seem to get more out of citrus and fruity tropical forward IPAs than dank ones.

Yup love fruit and particularly citrus.

But I like em all as long as they are done well!
