Zima could make a MillerCoors comeback

I cannot remember a single pleasant incident involving this stuff.

 

More of a Boone's Farm and St. Ides Special Brew fella myself.

 

this happened at our store too, though I believe our allocation was 10 cases, and we have also been getting 3-4 "Do you have Zima?" phone calls per shift , from customers of other stores in the area who heard we might have it. Color me amazed...

 

It strikes me as a bit hypocritical to exclude Zima when there are entries for Not Your Fathers Rootbeer and other flavored malt beverages. IMO, either they're both beers, or neither of them are.

 

They have my vote to rid of those too. Problem is that there are probably others that are more of a gray area so where exactly do you draw the line?

 

So we had our "Trailer Trash Party" last week, and a couple six packs showed up. It was amusing watching adults try to choke down what were basically Zima shots. Most of the bottles are still laying out back, I'm not bringing that in the house.

And someone left a 40 of St Ides in our fridge...............in a brown paper bag of course.

Yeah, it's a little crass, but I guarantee it's more flavorful and more alcoholic than Bud is! But y'all know it's the truth.

I can't lie, I'm a sucker for fake "beer" when it comes to twisted tea. I know, I know, it's crap; but I like one on a random hot ass day, it quenches my thirst.


I guess I have no room mocking your crap beverage, just to defend my crap beverage! That said, they're both crap! Lol

 

Never tried it and I don't plan on it. I wonder if they'll bring back that Jack Daniels Hard Cola, assuming it's gone (I haven't seen it in a very long time). That stuff was brutal.

 

Ha! I was going to mention the same thing. Although in my memory, the thread ran for 30 pages over the course of eight months.

 

Had it this weekend. Just out flat terrible. The first taste is decent, and then it has this horrible alcoholic finish that even a poorly made 13% stout doesn't have.

Not to mention, I felt like I was dragging on my run the next day. Too much sugar? Perhaps. Either way, I'm glad I didn't buy the 6 pack and just got to try from someone else's (who actually somewhat enjoys it).
