Birra Moretti L’Autentica displays a light golden pour and a generous whiteish head. Hanging lacework. Cereal grains nose. A moderately halting taste, forward on the distillate phenolic flavor. Not a deal breaker, more of this brew signature. Good carbonated release and a surprising warm from a moderate 4.6%. Mouthfeel is easy. Mostly light on the finish.

11.2 oz bottle, served in a shaker pint glass. Date on back of bottle: BBD May 2027.
Appearance: Clear golden yellow, thin white head, some small sheets of lacing.
Smell: Crisp, faint leafy/noble hop note (not skunky).
Taste: Cracker-like malt, mild bitterness (noble hop type) at the finish. Clean and mildly crisp.
Mouthfeel: Good carbonation (not fizzy), and good thickness as well. Dry finish.
Overall / Drinkability: Nothing special for the style, but easily drinkable and it went well with seafood ravioli with a cream & herb sauce. A simple Euro lager - easily could have had another one but at the price (imported at higher end restaurant), one was enough.

AROMA: Mildly sweet, with light scents of bread, malt, and honey. Inviting but not alluring.
APPEARANCE: Pours a transparent pale gold color with a one-finger, bright white, tight-frothed head that dissipates somewhat slowly with moderate lacing. It looks fairly nice in my clear glass.
TASTE: At beginning of a sip, I get mild sweetness that then transitions to some crisp, mild bitterness. There are light flavors of malt, bread, and hops. As the beer warms, the sweetness level rises just a bit, which I find to be a better match with the bitterness level.
MOUTHFEEL: Medium-bodied with a slightly smooth texture. Although, due to the slightly higher-than-average carbonation level, there is a bit of "grabbiness" on the tongue during the finish. Finish is mildly dry.
OVERALL: I find it to be an enjoyable beer to relax with. It's crisp and refreshing, has a pleasing aroma and flavor, and goes down easy. It's low ABV means I can have a few without worrying about getting snockered.
It's not a beer that's going to "wow" anyone, but it is a solid European lager that I think most beer drinkers would find pleasant. For me, it's the type of beer that I want when I'm going to spend the day on the porch sipping beer and relaxing after a long week. In that situation I want a beer that I don't think about as I drink it. It should just go down easy and make my brain say "Mmm, good!". Additionally, my palate shouldn't get fatigued if I drink a few of them. This is one of those beers.

Look: 11.2 ounce bottle poured into a Pilsner glass. Purchased from Total Wine & More.
Look: bright golden color. Frothy three finger foam head that lingers. Moderate amount of lacing. It’s a nice looking beer.
Smell: grains, bread, sweet honey, grass, and a faint hops aroma. The smell is light, but pleasant.
Taste: grains, malt, bread, herbs, and hops. There is more hops flavor than I expected. In terms of other beers I’ve had, it tastes similar to Heineken.
Feel: medium bodied. Creamy mouth feel. Slightly below average carbonation.
Overall: it’s a decent European pale lager. It has a good amount of hops in the taste. No foul aroma or flavors detected. Although I don’t think there’s anything particularly special about it. I probably would not buy it again, but I would not turn it down. It is completely drinkable. It is worth trying if you run across it but not a must have.

330 ml bottle
Pours a clear pale gold color with a large sudsy white head. Lower retention. Leaves some sticky cobwebs.
Aroma is grainy and lightly skunked. Bread and faint hops.
Taste is surprisingly hoppy. Zesty and herbal. Lots of bread and cereal grains.
Light bodied with high, zippy carbonation. Crisp. Relatively clean.
Not a terrible beer, for what it is. Definitely more flavorful and drinkable than a regular Heineken. It's inoffensive.

From a 500ml can dated BB 01 2027. Poured into a pint glass. A two finger fine white head on a clear light straw. The head soon diminished to a thin layer. Some fine lacing.
A clean aroma of light yeast. The taste is bread with and earthy hop finish.
Medium body and carbonation. Overall a pretty standard European Pale lager.

Not a bad brew for a mass produced European beer. Has a hoppy aftertaste which is surprising yet welcomed.

A fresh bottle with a BBD 15 months away, I noticed this recent addition in the beer aisle that wasn’t there last month.
Better than any I’ve had in most Italian restaurants over the years. (Usually a little skunky) unless I was in a “Little Italy” restaurant in a city somewhere with turnover.
Poured into a stemless wine glass, a pale straw color with a fizzy head that dissipates pretty quickly.
The lightly toasted malt flavor is good, hints of bread, grain. The hops flavor is mild, bitterness is barely perceptible. The finish is fairly clean and leaves a mild aftertaste.
Not nearly as bad as I expected.

It’s basically the Italian Modelo. Nothing great about it, but nothing wrong with it either. It’s solid. Tastes like toast, grains, bitter hops, and subtle sweetness. It’s a pretty good aftertaste with subtle smoked nuts, caramel, and chocolate. It’s better than Modelo.
