Served in straight pint glass. Poured a dark amber with a half-inch of tan head that had low retention and OK lacing.
The aroma was a bit spicy, yeasty and had some grain in the background. The flavors were very similar, with the grain having more of a presence on the tongue than was in the nose. The yeast and spice blended very nicely.
The body was typical and the drinkability was very good, but not outstanding. Overall, a nice little brew. Worth swinging by Bend for a try.
