"The crack of a bat. The roar of the crowd! Hot dogs, peanuts, and a beer with a beautifully flavorful malt body with a balanced hop presence. Left Field Lager is the perfect compliment to a great time with friends, family, and the Bend Elks!"

Nice light feeling lager with surprising full flavor. Refreshing - at the ol’ ball yard in Bend, Oregon. No Off tastes or obnoxious corn/graininess. Sessionable as heck through 6 or 7 innings.

Look: Pours a clear amber with a dense, off-white head that rises and slowly settles to a pillow, leaving nice lacing clung to the glass
Aroma: Freshly baked bread, light toffee, cereal grains, toasted crust, floral hop notes, and light pome fruit
Taste: Opens up with a nice combo of bready malt, toffee, and wafts of pome fruit that enter strong and quickly develop depth. More bread, crust, and some grains pick up in the middle as floral hops swirl around until it closes with more bread and toffee
Mouthfeel: Full but light, clean, medium-high carbonation, and clean and crisp on the finish
Overall: This is some good stuff. A new one for me from these folks and although I’m typically a skeptic when it comes to craft Mexican Lagers, this one is not only good but unique as it seems to chase/follow in the mold of Victoria – one of my favorites – in being more of an Amber Lager or Vienna. Lots of bread, some toffee, and floral hops all in good balance and in a tasty and refreshing package. Recommended

CASCADE LAKES BREWERY – BEND ELKS BASEBALL CLUB- LEFT FIELD LAGER
The label says Mexican lager and the beer is a darker golden color. This some very tasty stuff and great for the summer months. The beer has the body of a brown ale with low acid minimum citrus flavor. The taste is a mix of caramel ,cedar and a bit of radish or other vegetables present which escapes me. This a very good beer and I recommend it highly.
