Growler filled 3/2/17; drank 3/5/17 @ Vincenzo's.
Opaque dull yellow/orange rust appearance.
A nice white head; decent lace.
Sweet orange citrus, mild grapefruit & faint dry wheat notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Orange & grapefruit flavors up front; mildly dry wheat notes on the finish. No booze heat.
A fruit forward treat; NE IPA done right.

Pours a beautiful bright sun yellow orange with a good deal of haze and a fluffy finger of foam.
Pungent orange, grapefruit and citrus fruit aromas with tropical fruit notes of pineapple and mango.
Wow, very juicy! Bright citrus fruit washes over the tongue sip after sip and leaves you wanting more!
Medium-bodied, low carbonation, juicy, soft, super smooth.
Overall, definitely one of Ram's best brews and hands down one of the best DIPAs in Illinois.

Pours a hazy opaque matte orange color. It really does resemble juice. Nice average white head steadily dissipates leaving white lacing and a thin residual head.
Smell is very fruity and tropical with notes of mango, grapefruit, papaya and orange. Slight dank bitterness.
Taste has notes of mango, orange, papaya, and grapefruit. Really juicy and fruity - the flavors just pop. Bit of a rind bitterness on the back end, but really not much. Touch of grass as well.
Feel is full bodied, smooth and creamy. Mild carbonation. Slightly dry finish.
Overall this is a really great IPA on its own. Its also one of the better NE styled IPAs available in the midwest. However, Ive had this beer several times at different points. Fresh its incredible. But at about a month the bitterness creeps upward and the carbonation really starts to fall off. Drink this as fresh as possible.
