Coffee coloured with a big comfortable head. Settles to a full film that surrenders good enough lace.
Big malty nose. Treacle. A whiff of alcohol and biscuit. You can tell it's gonna be a sweet one. And indeed, sweet, roasty, malty, but with a nice lingering and bitter finish. A touch of sourness. Pretty soft mouthfeel with just a touch of carbonation.
Pretty heavy duty drinking with all the malt, sugar and alcohol. A bit too heavy-handed for my liking.
