can from the LCBO - pours a deep amber light copper color with a massive 3 finger off white cap - aromas are demure bready malts with light pumpkin pie spice tones and some grassy hop notes - well rounded character, soft silky mouth feel, well balanced and drinkable.....flavor has a rich malt spine in front in balance with soft pumpkin pie spice tones and hop balance....malty-spicey drying finish where bitterness builds to a sharp bite at the end...I'm really impressed with this FM offering, it's like a malty pumpkin pie without over the top spicing.

I bought a can at the LCBO in Ontario Canada.
473ml at 6%.
Poured into glass with a 1 finger head disappeared quickly looking flat almost .
Kinda tasted like a cherry coke almost.
Spicy cinnamon and pumpkin flavor but not overpowering.
Overall an ok pumpkin lager a little different style for me .
Cheers

473 mL can from the LCBO; best before 03/10/2023 and served slightly chilled.
Pours a clear copper-brown colour, producing about a finger of smooth, tight, pale beige-tinged head that melts away within a few minutes' time. A frothy collar and sudsy cap remain, with a small amount of lace speckled about above - looks fine to me. Pumpkin spice on the nose - cinnamon especially, but I'm also getting lesser hints of nutmeg, allspice and maybe a hint of gingerbread. Suggestions of pumpkin pie, creamy sweetness and brown sugar.
I like it - the underlying lager serves as a neutral backdrop, so the flavour profile is nearly entirely dominated by its 'bonus ingredients'. Pumpkin pie filling and cinnamon come through first, followed by brown sugar and the other spices. Nutmeg in particular is prominent near the finish, with milk sugar sweetness and pumpkin continuing through a spicy, mildly earthy/bitter finish; the aftertaste is sweet, but fades to more of a clove spiciness that lingers on the taste buds. Medium in body, with average carbonation that adds some prickliness to this brew's smooth, somewhat sticky mouthfeel. One can is about right for me, as it's not something I'd care to drink all night.
Final Grade: 3.90, a B+. Theatre of Madness is better than your average pumpkin spice beer: the spiciness is not too heavy-handed, and there's enough malt & lactose flavour to keep things semi-balanced. Worth trying, but I really suggest that you check the packaging date before doing so because there is stock from last year floating around. I could see myself drinking this a few more times while it's available, a stark contrast from their Paranormal Imperial - which, for a couple of reasons, is really more of a once-a-year type deal.

473 ML can
Served in a stemless wine glass
This beer pours a deep copper hue with blood orange highlights visible when held to the light. It is topped with an inch of tan head that leaves spotty lacing.
I get pumpkin spices out the ass.
Pretty much a pumpkin spice bomb. Pumkin pie flavors all over my palate.
Thin bodied with a watery mouthfeel
If you like light beer loaded with pumpkin spice flavors and aromas, then you might like this beer. It's not that bad. I am way over this pumpkin spice shit for years though.

Look: Pours bright clear burnt orange/red, with a 1 finger orange/white head. The head disappears leaving strong lace after 5 minutes.
Smell: Pumpkin puree, cinnamon and brown sugar, very powerful odour, and exactly what you would want from a pumpkin beer.
Taste: Very on point, pumpkin and cinnamon hits you right away. Nutmeg and other fall spices are noticable in the middle. The beer ends with a sweet dryness.
Feel: Medium mouth feel, with a medium carbonation. Definately sticky and mouth coating.
So whenever Flying Monkeys is highlighting a flavour (Chocolate, Pumpkin, Pineapple) they always deliver heavy on that flavour. That's something I love about them, when they promise you a flavour, your getting that flavour to the max. It won't be hidden in the background. This beer delivers all the pumpkin, and pumpkin spice you deserve. I give this an A-

Pours a dark copper colour with a small head. Corny with hints of rye on the smell. The taste is light on the pumpkin, but makes up for it by some other spices and flavours. Rye, seems to be in the forefront. Maybe some smokiness also

473 ml can purchased from the LCBO for around $3.75 CDN. Canned August 30, 2021. Listed as pumpkin lager and served cold into a snifter.
Appearance - Reasonably dark brown / auburn color with mahogany highlights. A finger plus of very light tan head is poured, but fizzles out within two minutes leaving a small soapy film on on top. Quite clear.
Smell - Plenty of pumpkin, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. A traditional pumpkin spice beer with pretty good intensity.
Taste - Lots of spices, clove and cinnamon and nutmeg feature priminently with the pumpkin draped over a sweet brown sugar malt backbone. Some earthy bitterness undertones keep this brew fairly balanced, but definitely leans sweet with a spicy finish.
Mouthfeel - Medium low carbonation, sticky and almost syrupy, I don't mind the texture given the accompanying flavors, some are bound to find this cloying. Finish is spicy and prickles the tongue.
Overall - A well constructed pumpkin beer, lots of spice. Flavors and everything are on point, however due to the sweetness, this is likely a one beer in a session type of beer as the drinkability would diminish rapidly after the first can. Different than last year's rendition which was Paranormal Imperial Pumpkin Ale, but both lean sweet, although this is less boozy than last year's 10% monster pumpkin ale. Worth a try for fans of the style.
