At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, from their 4-pack IPA boxset at my favourite LCBO at The Roundhouse Centre in nearby Windsor. My sixth beer from the Barrie, ON brewery.

473 mL can from the LCBO, included in a Flying Monkeys IPA mix pack. Dated Nov 10 2023 and served barely chilled.
Pours a hazy golden-blonde colour, stirring up an inch of soapy, foamy white head that recedes within five minutes or so. A filmy cap remains, surrounded by a frothy collar accented by a modest smattering of uneven lace. Lemon & lime on the nose, as well as hints of orange, peach, guava and passion fruit.
It tastes alright, but the profile isn't entirely cohesive: it's hoppy and fairly bitter, but there's also a sweet, vanilla-like note that clashes with everything else. I'm tasting orange, mango, pineapple and stone fruit, backed by hints of wheaty malt and vanilla sweetness; finishes with some floral, herbal hop bitterness that doesn't last, with orange-vanilla creamsicle lingering into a sweet-ish aftertaste. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation that adds some bite to this brew's otherwise smooth, creamy mouthfeel. Fair drinkability, but one can is enough for me.

I found another tall can from a newer mixed pack, this one dated Mar 20 2024. Gloop is a serviceable IPA, but I'm still inclined to call it the weakest brew in the pack. The marshmallow IPA (Squishy) wasn't really all that much better overall, but I can respect a weird concept rendered well. Gloop's idea of a Fruit Loop IPA is a good concept rendered in an underwhelming fashion - and that, to me, is more disappointing. Not my cup of tea, but if you enjoy orange creamsicle-themed beers then this'll be worth looking into.
Final Grade: 3.65, a B grade.

473 mL can
Served in an imperial pint glass
This beer pours a slightly hazy, amber hue and is topped with a mountain of off-white head that leaves rings of lacing as it recedes.
It has a fruity aroma. I can pick out lime.
There's a battle between sweet flavors and bitter flavors. My tastebuds ultimately lost.
Lighter bodied with an effervescent mouthfeel
Lofty goal. Not particularly well executed for my taste.

Part of the Flying Monkeys seasonal IPA 4 pack. Listed at 6.1% ABV. Served cold into a goblet.
Appearance - Mostly clear golden color with amber hues. A finger of white head dissipates reasonably quickly. A bit of streaky white lacing.
Smell - Citrus and stone fruit. Some vanilla in the background.
Taste- Vanilla again with lots of sweetness transitioning to mild bitterness and orange the most prominent citrus flavor.
Mouthfeel - Medium full bodied, creamy with a semi-dry finish. Carbonation is effectively fizzy.
Overall - With the vanilla and citrus combo it is reminiscent of a cereal IPA. Also reminds me of their Live Transmission milkshake IPA with the creaminess and orange being a focal point.
