At my lady Pamela's house; canned, from their IPA Box Set, from my favourite LCBO at The Roundhouse Centre in nearby Windsor. Both intriguing and refreshing. Oddly satisfying. My second time having this beer, but first in 2025.

473 mL can from the LCBO, included in a Flying Monkeys IPA mix pack. Dated Nov 8 2023 and served slightly chilled.
The body of this golden yellow-hued brew is actually rather clear, but it's clouded up with flocculent sediment clumps that gradually drift throughout the liquid, eventually settling at the base of the glass. More than an inch of tight, foamy white head lasts for three minutes or so, falling back to a frothy cap and collar; modest lace deposition. The aroma is a little understated, consisting of orange citrus, pineapple juice and stone fruit with a hint of papaya.
It tastes very fruit-forward: there's orange juice, pink grapefruit, strawberry and pineapple, with hints of mango, papaya and stone fruit not far behind. Finishes with red berries, bubblegum, apricot and citrus dissipating into a tangy-sweet aftertaste that lasts for a second or two. Medium in body, with weak carbonation that rolls limply along the surface of the tongue, barely adding any bite to this brew's smooth mouthfeel. Pretty drinkable - I wouldn't mind another can, but it's not something I'd want to drink all night.
Final Grade: 3.8, a B+. While the Flying Monkeys have undeniably produced better IPAs than Yummo, I still think this is a neat beer, if a little gimmicky. With four different hops and four different fruits, it's hard to tell where each one starts or ends - it's like a cacophony of citrus, tropical fruit, stone fruit and berries. Tasty, but not entirely cohesive - and also, the excess sediment may turn some folks off... but if you've tried this brewery's Sparklepuff Triple IPA then you should be used to this sort of thing by now. It could've been better, but in a sampler pack there's always going to be winners and losers.

473 mL can
Served in a pokal glass
This beer pours a hazy golden color and is topped with a mountain of beige head that leaves spotty lacing.
Light citrus aroma. Lemon stands out
Light citrus flavor
Medium bodied with a biting mouthfeel
Decent IPA

473 ml can served cold into a chalice. Part of the Flying Monkeys IPA pack of Fall 2023. Canned November 8, 2023. Dry hopped with Superdelic, Rakau, Riwaka and Mosaic hops. Addition of various fruit purees.
Appearance - Cloudy dark golden beer with a ton of floating sediment. A finger plus of frothy white head. Good head retention and the sediment disperses with much of it settling towards the bottom.
Smell - General citrus aroma with a sweet pineapple undertone. Papaya` and orange are other aromas that stand out.
Taste - Pretty watery, with some pineapple and orange flavors. Sweet initially turning bitter towards the end. Not terribly juicy. Fruit punch does come out on repeated sips.
Mouthfeel - Lacking carbonation. Dry finish and medium body.
Overall - A rare miss from Flying Monkeys. I'm not sure if this was a bad can, but the citrus punch aspect seems pretty absent, the beer seems very watery and the purees didn't seem to punch it up. The lack of carbonation is the strangest thing here. The concept is good and I would be open to trying a second can, just to see if this was the intended beer, but everything just seems to be off, especially for one of the best IPA brewers in the province.
