473 mL can from the LCBO; dated Feb 27 2024 and served slightly chilled.
Pours a hazy golden marmalade hue with fine flecks of sediment suspended throughout the liquid; situated atop is more than two fingers of fluffy, foamy white head that lasts for more than five minutes. A delicate coat of attractive, spidery lace adheres to the glass, with a frothy collar and filmy cap lingering on - looks great so far. Big notes of lemon juice and peel on the nose, with coconut also not difficult to detect; hints of mandarin orange, stone fruit and herbal, minty hops are slightly less obvious.
The coconut's a little heavy handed, while the lemon does its level best to reel it in; as for the chiffon cake angle, I guess it more or less manages that, in spite of its hoppiness. Hints of pineapple, mandarin orange and mango are interspersed between the lemon/coconut flavours, as well as some bready, wheaty malts and mild boozy sweetness. Moderate herbal, floral bitterness towards the finish, with lemon curd dissipating into a coconutty-sweet aftertaste. Full-bodied, with relatively low carbonation that softly tingles the tongue; smooth, soft and fluffy mouthfeel that seems appropriate. One can was more than enough for me.
Final Grade: 3.89, a B+. In the interest of transparency, I am not real big on coconut - I mean, I'll tolerate its presence, but it's not exactly a strong selling point, y'know? So with that being said, even though Paradise Delight doesn't skimp on the coconut, I can still enjoy this for what it is - a pretty good coconut (and lemon) pale ale. Only in small quantities though, and probably only once in a blue moon. If you've enjoyed other Flying Monkeys IPAs and don't have the same hate-on for coconut that I do, it's worth a try.

Just poured into a glass as i write this review hold on let's see.
2. Finger head golden clear very slow carbonation.
The smell is amazing coconut .
Poured into glass with a 2 finger head leaving a lace as you drink it.
Slow carbonation a little hazy golden color lots of coconut flavor and topical fruit cake and some lemon with a medium bitterness level.
I would definitely buy this beer again.
Cheers enjoy.

473ml can served cold into a chalice. LCBO purchase for around $4.50CDN. Canned February 27, 2024.
Appearance - Hazy golden brew with honey brown highlights. Two fingers of foamy white head rest on top and leave an impressive trail of lacing. Very good retention time.
Smell - Lemon and coconut for sure with a very floral aroma backing these two fruity aromas. Some other citrus and the coconut is actually more muted than the floral arrangements.
Taste - Coconut comes out big here with some sweetness and vanilla before the lemon takes over and goes for a floral finish. Impressively big coconut and works well here with lemon. Lower than average bitterness.
Mouthfeel - Full bodied with low carbonation and a heavy texture accentuated by the coconut flavor.
Overall - A nice tasting beer with coconut fully at the forefront, but with a lack of bitterness, this is less IPA and more hybrid something else. Still worth trying if you can as Flying Monkeys doesn't do bad beer, but Paradise Delight perhaps isn't one of the top IPA's to come from this brewery in the past couple of years
