This classic German-style Märzen (Maerzen) is a medium bodied beer that has the emphasis on the malt character with Munich malts for a pale to medium amber color, with a light toasty and malty, biscuity flavor. Hop bitterness is medium-low with an IBU level of 22, with noble hops bringing providing the lightly hopped character, for a very drinkable beer. Filtered for a bright appearance and white foam.

18oz pour at Costa Mesa Windsor. Served in a dimpled stein.
Light brown / dark amber, small head. Smell is nutty, toasty, bready, super malty. Light woody bitterness. Grainy sweetness. Mouthfeel is medium to light, very prickly. Overall, very nice.

I had this on draft 10/3/24 @ the Beer Temple.
Semi-opaque dark orange appearance.
Small white head; minimal lacing remained.
Wood, caramel & faint smoke notes in the nose.
Medium thick mouthfeel.
Caramel & wood flavors up front; faint smoke notes on the finish.
Full bodied & flavorful; this is for the colder half of fall. Good.
