From notes on 9/28/13
Pours a very still amber, reddish orange color, maybe even a little tan, with zero head.
Smell is acidic and sweet, berry, wet brown sugar, cherry, hint of rhubarb. It smells...well ok.
Taste not as ok. Its very boozy. Sour cherries flavor dominates, acidic, with a sweet finish, alot of figs, heavy on the malts, almost no wood notes, and this brown sugar thing that lingers in your mouth.
Mouthfeel is below average, little carbonation and leaves a non-desirable after taste that leaves you hesitating to take the next sip.
Overall, not sure what happened here, this one got away from them.
