A - Not too close to black, but rather a dark brown with a bit of a reddish hue. A large frothy head rests on top of the beer. Small amounts of lacing are left behind.
S - Red delicious apple flesh, faint coffee caramel aroma (like that of a Godiva coffee caramel).
T - Coffee and toffee in the foretaste, a lot of red delicious apples. Finish is a mild malty coffee, with out much bitterness. Taste a bit like generic hard candy flavor throughout, but not nearly as sweet.
M - Thin, slightly harsh, pretty refreshing.
D - Pretty good, worth a try if you are in the area. I am guessing this will eb around for two or three months so I will probably have this fairly often.
