On tap at Franklin's.

Pours a nice golden color with a good white head and some lacing. The nose carries some faint pilsner malt along with some floral hops. Belgian yeast in the background. Flavor is somewhat hoppy with a malt backing. Medium body and a semi-dry finish. Pretty good beer.

pours a hazy, dreamy gold, and carries a bread & spice aroma and flavor. There are enough hops to balance, and no more. It has just the right carbonation and a thick mouthfeel.

This is a well-rounded beer and a nice departure from the plethora of Belgian wheats. If you know people who shy from craft beers, preferring lighter beers, steer them in the Belgian Pale Ale direction, and if you can, take them to Franklins.

From the brewer: "A Belgian-style golden ale, light in body with aromas of fruit. It's slightly sweet with a delicious finish."

Beer on draft at Franklins, with the new brewer I'm giving this place another chance. Beer is yellow and hazy. Carbonation is low and there isn't much head at all. Its white and broken and doesn't leave any lacing on the glass.

Aroma is subtle but good. Nice bready yeast character with some estery spice.

Beer is sharp and sweet. Finishes nicely, overall a round flavored beer. The initial sharpness, I'm not sure what that was but its not there anymore. Not much carbonation in the palate and it finishes nicely.
