On tap at the brewpub today, listed at 5.1% ABV. It's been a while since I've had one of these.
Surprisingly light for a dunkel, this one's is a dark hazy orange with a dense, off-white head with nice retention and lacing. The nose is a blend of caramel, clove and banana. It does, however, lack the chocolatey, roasty notes that some of the better dunkels have. This is mirrored on the palate - an excellent flavor of honey drizzled spiced banana bread. It is, however, an incomplete pallete, as the lack of an acidity does hamper the finish, especially in the way that there's nothing to act as a counterpoint to the lightness that the wheat brings, and the sweet flavors that are present. Still, this medium-light bodied beer is refreshing and enjoyable, and one I would drink again in a heartbeat. Recommended.

Beer on draft at Franklins. Its brown and hazy, with a small head that leaves some lacing on the glass. Beer is moderately carbonated. It looks fine.
Beer smells mildly caramelly and kind of grainy, not much banana.
Beer is good tasting, its mildly grainy, not very bitter at the back end. I drank this rather quickly, hard to say anything bad about it.
