Beer served in a nonic pint glass at Franklin's pub. Beer is black with a film of microscopic bubbles that completely coat the sides of the glass.
Aroma is good, smells a lot like weak coffee.
Beer is medium to light in body with a moderately dry finish. Mildly sweet on the front with some mild bitterness and roast at the back end. I'd drink it again, Franklin's always makes good session beers.
