An anniversary ale for Franklin's of a sort, served in a glass that looks like the vertical epic glasses. Beer is amber and mostly clear but pretty much has no head and low carbonation.
Aroma is sweet, a little boozy, malty, mild ester character.
Unfortunately this beer has a semi-medicinal flavor to it. It's sweet with some alcohol on the lead off followed by this odd woodiness and syrup flavor, the finish is a little dry. Not my favorite beer there.
