750 mL bottle purchased at the brewery in 3/14, poured into my The Bruery "Rud the Day" tulip glass, unknown bottling date, drank over ~2 hours
A: 2/3 - deep red-amber coloration; small white bubbles coming off the bottom of the glass, moderate alcohol legs
S: 9/12 - subtle admixture of roasted malt and barnyard character; moderate alcohol notes, no detectable flaws
T: 16/20 - the flavors match the aroma very nicely; on the front of the tongue, there is a gentle tartness that comes with some mild alcohol notes; finishes dry and refreshing
M: 4/5 - medium body; moderate carbonation; generally smooth and creamy
O: 8/10 - nicely balanced Flanders red; Franklin's continues to impress with their sour program, and, for $9.99/bottle, it's relatively reasonably priced for a sour; recommended!
TOTAL - 39/50
