(on tap at Goose Island Clybourn, July 2014 - served in a pint glass)
A: light orange liquid, relatively clear... only a little foam on the pour, not much lace
S: fruity (apricot?), lightly mineral... floral note to the hops, if any hops do factor in here... bright, clean esters dominating the aromas... quintessential English-style summer ale profile
T: dry, boldly bitter... about a 3:2 ratio of apricot/peach fruit to pale malt flavors... no notable sweetness or "hoppy" hop flavors
M: quite light, crisp, clean... low carbonation, airy soft... lacks roundness in the body, not that such a thing is required here
O: undistinguished character but serviceable and refreshing for what it is...
