(on tap at Goose Island Clybourn, July 2014 - served in a pint glass)
supposedly an English IPA...
overall - ultra soft, clean, and yawningly mellow... adjunct lager-like with only a touch of extra malt and bitterness more than what a lager should have
not terribly hoppy - even below what an 'authentic' English version should be... more like a delicately earthy-hoppy blond or bitter

Poured from the tap at Clybourn a hazy orange-gold color with two fingers of off-white head. Nice lacing left behind.
Aroma of sweet caramel malts and light floral citrus notes.
This was definitely an English-style IPA. Sweet and caramel malt-driven with light floral hops. Finished clean.
Medium bodied and smooth with a lighter carbonation.
This was pretty decent for an English style IPA from Goose Island. Not really my thing, I prefer bigger American IPAs, but I did enjoy it.
