Popping the top not much smell at all. Pours to a bright yellow with a huge head that recedes very slowly. Taste is mellow and unobtrusive nice balance and silky smooth. A nice session we.

There are reasons not to call this a gose. But, it is close enough to the style's standard that I also go with gose.
Salt Life actually Looks clear like a lager (gose are usually cloudy.) Smells also don't waft up the tart, more malty aromas. Tastes introduce tart, but in a subdued way... which is how I prefer it. The bubbles are sufficient to cleanse the palate during lunch. And the salt means I don't have to add it to the food. A good accompaniment !

My can says Salt Life is "Brewed and Packaged by Salt Life Beverage LLC in Jacksonville And Under Special Agreement , Abita Springs LA" all of which tells me this beer has a particular distribution agreement with Abita's parent. (But that is a guess.) At any rate, no point in giving a long review to Redlight other than to say they are 4 years old, have a taproom and bottleshop, have a menu of mostly bar food, and seem to be enjoying themselves. For that and the distribution innovation, they get some good OA Hugs.

On-tap at Batch Gastropub, Miami, FL

A: The beer is clear yellow in color and has no visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high bright white head that left a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of pale malts, rice, and coconuts are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has flavors of pale malts, rice, and coconuts.
M: It feels a bit more than light-bodied and clean on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is easy to drink and has a nice and clean mouthfeel.

Serving type: on-tap

Good cool down / canoe ride option. Not heavy or filling. Crisp taste. Liked the can version best.

From the Legacy single shelf.
LOOK: Pours a crystal clear, very light gold with a snow white head that has minimal retention, NOTE: The listed style here is Leipzig Goose and accordingly that should mean that:
the contemporary Gose is cloudy from suspended yeast. Nothing cloudy from this offering, so question the BA style listing.
AROMA: Grass, faint corn husk.
TASTE: It's hot day beer! Probably, works well at the beach.
The biggest thing this beer has going for it is that it has nothing offensive and is refreshingly drinkable.

From a 12 oz. bottle into a Perfect Pint glass, pour yields what looks to be fairly typical lawn mowing beer (or in this case, beach/boating beer). Darkish yellow body with plenty of bubbles fuel a pillowy white head that fades quickly leaving a small collar. Nose of faint grass, some malt with slight hint of hops. Taste is inoffensive, a bit of malt flavor without being too sweet, with very low IBU hops toward the end. It’s a smooth drinker, so it would be no problem tossing back several. Overall, probably right on the money as far as the target demographic goes (people who like to drink beer while spending time on and around the water). Otherwise, another fairly mediocre brew that I wouldn’t go out of the way to try again.
