Pours a brilliant and crystal clear maraschino cherry red with highly active carbonation and a two finger head of slightly pink foam.
Citrusy aromas linger at first whiff, but the saison yeast adds a slightly funky aroma of must.
Tart blood orange and other citrusy flavor galore, with a hint of sweetness probably from the beets addition, and a nice saison-funkiness.
Light-bodied, high carbonation, tart, crisp, sweet, dry finish.
Overall, I'm not the biggest fan of blood oranges but the citrus fruit lends a nice tartness to a well balanced saison. Delicious and highly drinkable.

Dark red body with an off-white cap. Smell is full of orange zest, funk, flowers and soil. The taste is where the beets kick in though, and powerfully so, taking the bright and springy floral blood orange and plummeting to earthy and beet depths. Too much beet! Feel is a little grainy depsite the light and effervescent body. If you like a beet strong finish, this beer is for you!
