The lightly hazed reddish colored beer pours out into a Duvel glass with a 1 1/4”” light pink head that recedes fairly soon to a patchy irregular ring of foam on the sides of the glass, a small ring of foam on the surface and a thin irregular island of foam in the center. Sipping creates a couple of arches and lots of tiny patches and legs of lacing, some of which slide back down to the liquid.
The aromas are filled with lots of fresh raspberry, some of which is noticeable upon opening the bottle even before the pour begins. In addition to the raspberry there’s some light wheat and malt in the background.
Not surprisingly the flavors are mostly about the raspberry and the smooth, lightly tart sweetness of fresh raspberries. There’s also some wheat and malt in the background but no real sign of any hop bitterness.
The mouthfeel is on the light side of medium bodied and slightly prickly, almost creamy, from the finely bubbled moderate carbonation. The long finish begins as the well controlled raspberry flavor and its tartness and sweetness begins to fade allowing the malt and wheat to temporarily show a bit more. The grains too begin to recede and leave a dry, light raspberry flavored slightly tart ending that goes on and on.
Overall I quite enjoyed this beer and expect to be having it again. The tartness and sweetness are in good balance, the beer is neither too tart nor too sweet. It would make a good aperitif or digestive as part of a beer-dinner. Definitely worth trying if you like raspberries and/or fruited beers. Part of what impressed me most about this beer is that the aromas/flavors remind remind me so strongly of eating a bowl of fresh raspberries as part of breakfast or some other meal.

On tap, nitro. Wears out its welcome quickly. Far too sweet. Notes of Jolly Rancher and cough syrup, which became more cloying as it warmed up. Did not finish this one.

Hazy, deep red .Medium-sized off-white head. Raspberries dominate the aroma and taste. Malty sweetness balanced by light acidic notes. The finish is rather dry. Great, fruit beer.
