Canned on 8/29/18. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours a bright golden with a subtle haze, but still has some clarity to it along with some bubbles racing upwards; small white head that falls leaving great retention and nice lacing. The aromas have some citrus and floral notes. Some coconut in the mix. Some fresh bread and crackers. The flavors are very clean, crisp, sharp and refreshing. Some grapefruit along with some hints of lemon. More floral notes. Lots of fresh grass. Wheat is there. Malts seem to almost take a backseat. Finishes clean and dry. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is great. It's light with very sharp active carbonation. It's very smooth, refreshing and easy to drink.

This is a nice "hoppy wheat lager", although I don't think I've ever had one with wheat. The craftsmanship is very impressive. Once again, it's very clean, crisp, sharp and refreshing. It feels more like an IPA than a lager at times, for whatever it's worth. It's enjoyable and fun to drink. I like it.

Pours to a lasting head that laces. Aroma is mainly in the citrus area with some light malts. Flavor is light and crisp with cracker malt and citrus hops playing well together. MF is light and refreshing. I wish more IPAs were this easygoing.

On tap at Big Fatty's Grill, White River Junction, Vermont.
Despite being poured into a pint glass, I got what was going on, so here are my observations.
The appearance was a nice looking glossy to pulled back hazy yellow to dismal orange color. Just a cap of a little white foamy head sat atop and dissolved within seconds. Barely any lace.
The aroma had a fairly nice blend of grassy to semi-sweet yet slightly pulled back citrus. Good dose of bready malt, but not too lager-like, it's sweet smelling like a lager yet trying it's best to bring in the hops.
The flavor was moderately sweet through a blend of the hops and the malts and then a stifled bitterness of the hops clenching it's grip ever so slightly in the background. Slight bready to pulled back sweet and bitter hoppy aftertaste (citrusy).
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a fair sessionability. Hop bitterness wasn't distracting but there for enough harshness to tell me this was an India Pale Lager. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt on par. Good semi-hoppy finish.
Overall, as an India Pale Lager, I'd say this one works and I'd welcome this again.

L: Pours a pale golden yellow with about 1.5 finger of head. It recedes rather quickly leaving a bubbly white ring and some patchy acing.

S: Citrus, grapefruit, some bready malts.

T: Follows the nose. Crisp finish. No lingering bitterness.

F: Moderate to high carbonation, light to medium body. This actually felt like a lager as many IPLs do not.

O: I liked this a lot and had three pints on New Year's watching the Jets hand over home field to NE.

12 oz pour into shaker pint

A: big small bubbled white head sits atop a fairly clear gold yellow body.

S: Light crackery malts Light citrus flavors a little tangerine.

T: Light mango, tangerine, and a nice layered finish of crackery malts.

M: medium bodied good carbonation.

O: This is a solid beer, the lager gives it a great body and the citrus while not in your face is light and pleasant.
