Pours a deep orange. Light mango aroma. Big sweet mango body. Syrupy sweet. Mild spicy habanero finish. It's pretty sweet. Too sweet for me. It wasn't bad but I wouldn't drink another.

12oz bottle. Poured out a clear, golden amber color with a small, thin head of foam. It left limited lacing on the glass. It smelled of mango, chili heat and caramel. Lots of sweet mango and caramel taste with a spicy heat.

Less heat than the original in the large bottle and much more balanced. Can really taste the mango now and it finishes with a mild lingering heat. It's sweet but not a cloying mouthfeel.

Pours clear gold with a light two finger head. Aroma is difficult to discern but I believe mango with floral characteristics. Taste is light with a touch, only a touch, of mango with the tiniest habanero at the very end of the profile. Despite how this might sound, it is quite good and goes down quickly.

APPEARANCE: Pours a hazy, effervescent amber, with a nice head of off-white suds. No lace.
NOSE: Subtle, light hint of fruit and maybe some habanero, ever-so-slightly.
TASTE: Sweet mango fruitiness at first, followed by a kick of spicy habanero heat at finish, coating the palate. An interesting mix of flavors, but in this case, one is enough.

Not overly fond of spicy beers. Pours a golden color with a small head that lasts quite a while. Aroma of mango. Tastes of spicy mango. Interesting brew.

Poured into a Fremont small snifter. Pours medium orange amber with one finger white head with good retention and nice lacing. Aroma of sweet malt, mango, green pepper and a touch of hot pepper burn. Flavor is candi and mild caramel malt, mango, green and hot pepper and light stone fruit. Medium bodied with moderate creaminess. I have to say that the name of this did not lead me to high expectations, but I like it a lot. The mango is a concentrated flavor like a mild syrup with authentic partially dried fruit flavor. Habanero is deftly handled, mild at first and building into a moderate burn in the finish. The two flavors meld well together. A touch sweet, but flavorful and rich in flavor. Apparently a high ABV version of a similar beer produced in the past. A pleasant, enjoyable surprise; less like a cocktail and more like a fruit strong ale than the previous ales in this series. I will continue to look forward to the next incarnation.
