Hazy straw yellow with minimal head and minimal lacing. Pungent aroma of stone fruit (peach and nectarine) alongside white grapes. Taste is very similar to the smell. Very fruity, very nice very drinkable. Feels light and refreshing. I will definitely drink this again.

Foggy apricot yellow with a thin creamy film and collar that die to nothing but a slick, still surface in no time.
This sour saison is surprisingly mature and complex, featuring sticky funk, sweaty tangy peach, very bright oak that seems to impart tart tangerine, grapefruit and white wine in the semi-dry swallow in this overall slick, smooth and tingly brew.

Pours a golden honey / light Amber color. Aroma is tart with a a subtle sweetness and a sour wine presence. Flavor is really nice. Notes of Chardonnay, a tartness with a crisp finish. This drinks so ran and smooth and overall this is a really nice beer. So easy to drink.

Poured a fizzy golden color. Smells tart, nearly like a sour. Maybe thats the chardonnay.
The chardonnay barrel aging really does come through in the beer's flavor. The first few sips I almost thought I was drinking a sparkling wine, or something of that nature. I don't have much experience with wines, but I can only imagine that's what I was noticing here. Some ginseng or herbal notes are also present.
Great idea. My wife loved it.

On-tap at Mugs Ale House, Brooklyn, NY
A: The beer is slightly hazy yellowish amber in color. It poured with a short off white head that died down and left a small patch of bubbles in the center and a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Sweet aromas of white grapes are present in the nose along with some hints of vanilla.
T: The taste is slightly sour and has flavors of chardonnay barrels along with associated hints of vanilla from the oak.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer doesn't taste like a saison and lacks any spicy flavors of yeast but is nonetheless very interesting to drink.
Serving type: on-tap
