We took our award winning Siberian Night Russian Imperial Stout and aged it for 11 months in fresh bourbon barrels. The result blew us away. The dark chocolate malt yields a milk chocolate flavor that blends perfectly with the vanilla flavor from the barrel. The bourbon aroma adds the finishing touch.

Looks like this is from 2018. Disappointing, I don't generally think barrel-aged stouts aged particularly well.
The body and barrel notes were kinda thin, but there is plenty to like here. Some fudge, bourbon soaked cherries, and vanilla are all very nice. The finish is a bit hot with woody bitterness.

Black color. Nice, beige head. Bourbon, chocolate, vanilla, and dark fruits in aroma. Moderate sweetness in malty taste, soft roasted bitterness at the end. Bourbon in a warming finish.

Poured from a 12-oz bottle into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint glass.
Look: Black, with a large dark tan head with pretty good retention that left considerable lacing.
Nose: Dark roast, sweet alcohol, chocolate.
Mouthfeel: Thick and creamy, plenty of carbonation.
Attack: Follows the nose exactly and very nicely.
Finish: A little bitterness from the dark roast. Alcohol warms going down.
Overall: An excellent sipper.

(12 oz bottle, 10.9% abv, no date/code; purchased single off the shelf in the back corner of The Foodery on 10th & Pine... poured into a fat tulip)
L: opaque, dirty, dark brown liquid pouring from the bottle, damn near black in the glass; foam was struggling to build, getting maybe a finger high, and soon after settled into a solid collar with a thin net of suds in the jutting out into the middle... laces very little, though the collar mostly stayed intact 3.75
S: smelled the boozy bourbon and thick roast-soiled malts bursting out of the neck of the bottle upon crown removal... in the glass, the malts are dense and sweetish like ganache or dark chocolate ice cream, with some undertones of char and cherry cordial (candy)... lots of chocolate, wow, but little overt alcohol, with the barrel character clinging closely on the perimeters 3.5
T: but on the palate, whoa, big big boozy blast, dare I say bordering on PX-aged bourbon, which actually swells to a crescendo and just seems to hold bold through the aftertaste, with an almost cayenne heat and spice tingling at the back... it's roasty, but more so worty in its rich maltiness; notably lacking in round, redolent sugars... I am somewhat surprised that a couple minutes after that first sip (haven't taken a second yet), it seems remarkably dry (or dead), with a tiny twinkle of chocolate chip lingering... second sip similar, and it's bordering on tannic and even sour 3.75
F: that bitty bracing bite up front gave me a slight cringe face each sip; not quite vinegar, but it draws a comparison... about halfway though and my chest is starting to glow... it's not off-putting, just unanticipated 3.5
O: with the dust on it, this bottle could be a few+ years old... the bourbon character is certainly intact and influencing the overall taste, and it's interesting against the mild-ish malt vinegar and choco chip artefacts in the aftertaste... a clangy, shrill stout (a wannabe A. Le Coq at this point?); I'm not about to run back and grab the other bottle I saw hiding in that corner 3.75 (2316)

Poured into a clear glass. The color is a very dark blackish and brown mix with a noticeable alcohol aroma. The smell to me consists of chocolate, vanilla, and of course, alcohol. The 10.9% ABV brings a nice, warm taste to the experience and I look forward to the next one.

Thank you for this @arizcard
Pouring this after having my Willettized .
Big Bourbon Barrel in this one. Nice blend of leather, cherries, bitter chocolate, black coffee and subtle 'nilla. Medium mouthfeel . A great beer that Imperial Stout lovers should seek out.

Picked up a 12 oz single from TW-Greenville SC on 7-19-21 for $2.99. No bottling date; consumed 10-19-21.
Beer poured black as night with a nice tan head with the original pour.
Nose is full of roasted malts, bourbon, and leather, very nice!
Taste is a large roasted malt base with a nice warming infusion of bourbon that brings out the chocolate from the malt base along with a touch of leather and vanilla. Finishes nicely balanced and not sweet.
Mouthfeel is medium to large bodied and silky smooth like the non BA version i had yesterday.
Overall the barrel aging was beneficial making the base brew more flavorful. Definitely will watch for this next go around assuming the barrel aging release in annualized!

Pours a deep dark black color with beige edges and a half finger of head. The nose has soft bourbon notes. The bourbon is not as present in the flavor profile as the nose might indicate, but it's still there adding a sweet note to the chocolatey taste. The mouth feel is slightly sticky.
My only negative is that the big roasted notes of the base beer seem somewhat muted here.

Poured into my snifter glass out of a 11 oz. bottle. This beer pours a very dark brown, practically black color with a silky looking tan head that's about an inch thick when first poured and that settles eventually to a very thick ring lining the inside of the glass along with some cluster swirls of film layer surface foam. Decent lacing. Aromas of roasted malts, some chocolate, coffee and vanilla notes, and a nice bourbon oak presence. The taste is pretty much exactly the same, starting out with a nice roasted malt presence followed by chocolate and vanilla notes. next up is some milk sugar goodness and then the flavor profile is rounded out by some oak bourbon and a bit of a boozy note. The 10.9% ABV is very well integrated here. The coffee bitterness and a bit of an earthy hop presence comes out more as the beer warms up a bit. An excellent flavor profile. Has a slightly crisp, mostly smooth, frothy, full bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. An excellent beer. Very drinkable for the style.

I got a bottle of this beer off the single shelf from my local Giant Eagle store. It poured an opaque dark with no head and no lace. The scent had wonderful Russian stout notes with bourbon highlights. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with strong molasses, vanilla, subtle cocoa with bourbon flare. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a solid beer.

12 oz bottle with no date (pretty sure its a 2018) poured into a snifter at 56 degrees F:
L - Black as the siberian night (I've been there), head dissipated quickly
S - bourbon, and a bit of caramel
T - the bourbon hits you immediately and then the malt flavor slides in. Wonderfully balanced
F - Medium mouthfeel with slight carbonation throughout
O - great beer, 2 or so years in the flavors are still blending very well
