A: Lemon rind yellow with a fizzy head that doesn't have much retention; lacing is okay

S: Wow, the lime is strong--overpowering in fact--with some lemon and even pepper aromas; this is pretty one dimensional and forced at that, but it still is an intriguing and refreshing beer

T: A pretty straight forward lager with a subtle bready base but, of course, the lemon and lime are at the forefront; this really tastes like a decent lager with 7up tossed in ; I don't hate it and actually it's a nice substitute for a shandy or radler in the summer; it's even slightly tart though there is something a bit medicinal in the finish

F: Decent body for what it is with a bit of that sticky texture

O: A strangely refreshing beer; I could down these on a hot day; I didn't know what to expect but I think I kind of like this

im not usually a flavored light lager guy, but this is really good. it has a great bright citrus flavor to it, very authentic and nice and dry, more acidic than sweet, and very true to both the lemon and the lime as whole fruit, i dig it! its really the perfect summer beer, mostly clear and really heady from the tap, a full inch of white foam hangs out on top and leave nice lace rings. it smells like fresh cut fruit and just a little crackery malt complexion. the lager yeast is essentially flavorless, but the mark it leaves on the mouthfeel is indelible, with a bone dry crisp finish, its perfect for the citrus to shine. the fruit isnt overdosed and its not at all perfumy, its very natural and well sized for the beer. this had enough flavor to stand up to bacon in a club wrap, but also the right carbonation and crispness to cut the grease of it too, more powerful and substantial than it drinks like it is. well made beer, obviously built for summer pounding. my first from these guys and its a winner this time of year.

Sampled last night on 11/22/14. Bottle chilled down to 36 degrees F in my beer cooler and poured in to a pilsner glass. Contains 4.9% alcohol (ABV) as listed on the front of the label.

Pours a golden-yellow in color with a small white head that stays around for a while actually. A decent amount of lacing is seen when sipped. The aroma is really nice and consists of a decent amount of lime and lemon zest and grains. Actually the taste is very good and the lemon and lime flavors mixed with the grain works well, believe it or not. Goes down easy and a great brew for the warmer summer months as it is very refreshing. Lighter+-medium bodied with perfect carbonation. Overall, I liked this one.
