Gorgeous reddish coloration, under a slightly pink-ed out head. Beautiful.

In the nose: Tart, Sweet, fruity. Raspberry-licious. Strawberry-tastic. Very nice.

In the mouth: More intense tart, more bright, funky, fresh raspberry flavor, with strawberries on the side. Lighter bodied. Modicum of malt. Focus is on funk and fruit. Very tasty this one, very enjoyable. This one nails it.

Thanks to Jeff for this one. 16oz. can into Night Shift stemware. Shared with schen9303.

I've rarely seen such a bright, golden red color. Real nice. Nose is very seedy. Hints of Sprite, raspberry and strawberry. Zesty and aggressive but its not really going anywhere if that makes sense. Beer opens with big strawberry and strawberry seed notes. Very little tartness up front with a nice, juicy fruit sweetness. Foamy with a sweet creaminess at the finish mixed with more acrid seediness. Body is light with ample carbonation. Foamy in the mouth and bubbly going down. Finishes soft, dry and clean.

This is decent but there's a strong seediness in this one that dominates and refuses to go away. That ruins the experience a big.

16oz can into a stemless wine glass. Pours a deep red with a thin, effervescent, cotton candy pink head. Great looking beer. The smell is underwhelming, strawberries are present but that's it. Taste is tart strawberry, apple, raspberry, just generally fresh fruit. Alcohol is well hidden--I'd believe you if you said it was 5 or 6 percent. Medium bodied, well carbonated, and a dry finish. Haven't had a ton of kettle sours, so I'm not sure if this is representative of the style at all--but I like it quite a lot.

Upside down pours a reddish color, with a small, long lasting and lacing head. Sweet aroma, full of berry notes. Flavor is slightly tart, good berry flavors finishes sweet. Good body and feel. Overall, pretty easy to drink, big sweet berry flavors.

Surly. J. Wakefield. In Minneapolis. Just my luck this is a sour & not a stout. 16 oz. can split with my wife.

The pour is pure copper with lots of verve to the head. Smells like fruit – not IPA fruit, but actual fruit that might have been grown in a garden. Interesting concept.

Inside the Upside Down – great show, great beer name, great breweries. The beer? Tame. Which is just a synonym for dull. Light tartness, strawbeeries, LaCroix water. The 9% is nowhere to be found. Half a can will be fine.

Quite the letdown. No depth & really nothing to distinguish it from any other kettle sour on this round ball of ours. Decent enough.

This beer pours a clear and slightly pinkish red. The aroma is driven by fresh raspberry and strawberry with a clean sweet tart quality. The flavor starts sweet and finishes pleasantly tart, with a gentle, greenish strawberry upfront and very fresh raspberry on the swallow with a lingering herbal tea characteristic. The mouthfeel is light with mild foaming carbonation and a slightly astringent finish. Overall this is a damn tasty beer, and really hard to believe it is 9%.
