16 oz stemmed glass on tap at Surly beer hall.
L: Pours clear medium gold color with a 1/4" frothy white head that recedes to edge froth, med-light steady carbo, some webby lacing.
S: The aroma is essentially nothing. Maybe a distant grain note.
T: The taste is basic with some grains, a hint of caramelized malts, very distant fruit. It is clean tasting without a lot of flavor.
F: The mouthfeel is brisk and is medium-light bodied with a clean lightly dry finish.
O: Overall there isn't a lot of flavor to this beer. It probably would go well with pizza and works as a hot weather beer. It has almost no aftertaste but drinks easy and has a nice lustrous mouthfeel but I feel it's not worth the price they charge for it at the beer haul. They brew much better beer. It's good in its style.
