"Telegraph Los Padres Saison
Saison · 7.0% · Santa Barbara, CA
An unfiltered, dry hopped Belgian saison, our Los Padres Ale is a beer we’re sure our fathers would be proud of. Redolent with grassy and crisp grapefruit hop aromas, a slight residual sweetness balances the beer perfectly. A hint of clove and a spicy finish make this a very satisfying beer." Commercial Description
1/2 growler filled in Brewster,NY
Pours hazed darker tangerine, moderate head.
This beer is loaded with fruity hops, Belgian spice, cloves, cilantro...tasty American style saison..went great with some soft blue cheese.
Quality stuff...Belgian lovers go get some

On tap. Good saison with lots of bubblegum notes. Medium body.

I had this beer on-tap in a pint glass at Hillside Bar in Seattle.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a very light haze and a light effervescence. Head is a thin layer of foam with a nice lace.
Smell: lightly toasty, funky and grassy. Uncomplicated but well-wrought.
Taste: nicely funky right off the bat with a bit of sweetness and a light grassy quality. Subtle but I quite like it.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: this beer really appeals to me, although it is a hair too sweet to drink a lot of it.
