Small pour at Mikkeller Burgers in Futako Tamagawa. Served in a little wine glass.
Pours hazy amber, one centimeter dense head, no ta lot of carbonation. Smell is grainy, nutty, wet wood and a little earthy funk. Taste is a little on the watery dry side, definite grain and grain husk theme. Very earthy. Mouthfeel is light, dry, and clean. Overall, not my favorite, but not bad.

Copenhagen 20/10 2023. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Dark blue can with a fellow looking through a Pretzel on the can.
Pours slightly unclear amber with a big off-white head. Stable. Settles as 2 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, malty odor mingling with a light sourish scent. Caramel and toffee. Bread. Grains and corn.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a sourish undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Bready, sweet Märzen.

Bottle acquired in Zagreb. Brief impressions below (on account of a less-than-ideal review environment):
A: Aggressive head takes ~10 minutes to fully recede, but is otherwise normal for the style, with a frothy thick consistency, an average complexion, and a lot of foam.
Body colour is a clear copper.
Looks well-carbonated, albeit average for the style. I note no stand-out or unique characteristics.
Sm: Cotton candy hop character, caramalts, pale malts. Comes off too sweet. I find no yeast character, off-notes, or booze.
Of average strength.
T: Follows the aroma. Slightly toasty as well. Pretzel? Sure..but it's not very prominent.
Mf: Smooth, wet, medium-bodied, well-carbonated. Not too thick or hefty on the palate.
O: A nice beer in its style, and highly drinkable. A good example of its style, and a beer I'd buy in six packs if it were offered at a reasonable price.
High C+ (3.25)
