The beer pours out a murky dark golden orange color, with 3 fingers of pillowy white head and beautiful lacing ------------ the aromas are of white grape, white wine, pineapple, tropical and stone fruit----------- the flavors are of white wine, grapefruit and sweet pineapple, the beer has a full mouthfeel with a extra dry finish------------ overall this beer is world class - this beer was amazing pushing the boundaries of both wine and beer, this one was the best of both worlds it was juicy and tropical at the same time it was dry and Vinous

Had with spicy Indian food, not a great pairing, too juicy and sweet, made with Riesling wine grape juice

Love the labeling on the can. Very hazy with 1/4” white head. Coats the glass leaving a small lacing. Piney, citrus, and sweet pungent aroma. Small lip puckering hops with oily Riesling coating in mouth with a malt backbone. Nice beer.

Pours very pretty, hazy orange with thick, fluffy head.
Smell is juicy with notes of mango, pineapple, grapes and some pine.
Taste is juicy and slightly vinous with notes of white wine, mango, grapefruit and slightly boozy. Well balanced bitterness.
Mouthfeel is mediun, soft and well carbonated.
Overall, a nice white wine/NE IPA kinda thing. Refreshing and tasty.

I'm going with Hallertau Blanc if I had to guess which hops they are pairing with the
Reisling grape juice. Nicely done, well balanced, very approachable recommend.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 5/16/2018. Pours very hazy golden amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big white grape, tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, melon, berry, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, Riesling grape juice, and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big white grape, tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, melon, berry, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very mild pine, citrus peel, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness; and grape tang on the finish. Lingering notes of white grape, tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, melon, berry, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, Riesling grape juice, and bready malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is great. Touch of resins near the end of the glass. Zero warming alcohol for 7%. Overall this is an awesome fruited NEIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, Riesling grape juice, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mildly bitter/drying finish. Awesome soft feel for the style. This is likely all Nelson hops, complements the Riesling grape juice perfectly. Very juicy and lightly dank hops/fruit; perfect wheat/oat/malt backbone, with mild residual sweetness. A really enjoyable offering, and spot on style example as expected.

Medium gold and opaque, like a murky orange juice, with a few fingers of fluffy head... From nose to sip, tons of white grape - the tangy, juicy-but-drying kind - and citrusy impressions of zest from lemons and grapefruit... Some richer suggestions of orange flesh and ruby red grapefruit add depth and round off the flavor profile... Juicy, soft, moderately sweet, mildly bitter, a little tangy, and even a little bit of a danker funk underbelly... Feel is soft and full, lush and smooth but with some citric tingle... For me, bears comparison (favorably) to Trillium's Dialed In beers (featuring various wine grapes and the like), but sweeter and less refined... Still, a really enjoyable beer for me... Canning date got squished together but it looks like May something, 2018...

Canned on 6/13, consumed on 7/3; poured from a tall-boy into my Bruery tulip.
Turbid goldenrod/marigold body with a finger of beige cream up top; lacing forms soft peaks; good retention.
Resinous/dank hop aroma with hints of pineapple and passion fruit; a second wave of subtle floral/mineral notes emerges from the grapes.
Bright, acidic, and mineral-laden flavors - mild bitterness with fruity and herbal notes mid-palate, but the grapes take over in the finish which is dry and suffused with stone fruit, honey-comb, and a hint of citrus.
Medium-light bodied, and somewhat tannic with moderate alcohol.
A very interesting expectation-defying experiment, although the result is not exactly a beer or a wine, so may fall into a category that won't necessarily appeal to regular drinkers of either beverage. At $4.50/can I wouldn't buy this again - but it's worth sampling if you have a chance.

A: The beer is very hazy yellow in color. It poured with a half finger high white head that died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles on the surface and coating the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of Riesling grapes and citrusy hops are present in the nose.
T: The taste is mostly dominated by flavors of Riesling grapes with only faint hints of citrusy hops. There is no bitterness.
M: It feels just about medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation. No crispness is detectable.
O: This beer is nice aromas and flavors of Riesling grapes. In some aspects, it almost smells and tastes like it could be a wine.
