Copenhagen 11/3 2022. 75 cl corked bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Light blue label in Baghaven’s usual design with drawing of a industrial building housing the brewery.
Pours unclear pale yellow with a big white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin but unbroken layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a light sweet fruity odor mingling with a strong, tart and sour scent. Tart gooseberries, citrus and sour green grapes. Whiff of vinegar.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a light sweetness followed by a strong tart sourness. Aftertaste is tart and sour. Lingers for a while. Finish is bone dry.
Sour, sharp and dry. And I thought Gift from Demeter should be ripe and sweet.
