Copenhagen 11/6 2022. 75 cl corked bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. From Blend 2. Golden brown label in Baghaven’s usual design with drawing of a industrial building housing the brewery.
Pours unclear - almost hazy - golden yellow with a big white head. Fairly stable. Settles as 1,5 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a faint sweet fruity odor mingling with a strong, vinous, tart and sour scent. Tart gooseberries, green apples, lemon and sour green grapes. Sharp but not vinegary.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a strong tart sourness. Aftertaste is tart and sour. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Vinous, tart, dry and elegant.
