Copenhagen 1/1 2020. 75 cl corked bottle from Irma, Smedetoften, Kbh. NV. Keith Shore Drawing of a small guy with a black hat and tired flowers ringing the doorbell.
Pours unclear, golden yellow with a big white head. Stable. Settles as 0,5 cm thick frothy layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is intense, citric, yeasty and a little spicy. Citrus and lemon. Humid basement. Touch of funk. Black pepper.
Medium carbonation. Thin, watery and lively texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a slightly more moderate citric bitterness. Aftertaste is spurish bitter with a sweet undercurrent. Semi-dry finish.
Pretty straight forward but nice Saison with a light funky touch.
