Copenhagen 5/5 2016. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh. Ø. Drawing of a very talkative blonde lady (Saison Sally I presume) talking all life out of a poor guy while riding a car on the label.
Pours slightly hazy, pale yellow with a big white head. Settles as a 1 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing on the side of the glass.
Aroma is sharp and sourish fruit. Citrus mingling with something that smells like Belgian yeast.
Light carbonation and watery palate. Lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is sweet and fruity. A little lemonade-ish. Medium bitterness in the aftertaste. Very easy to drink.
Nice to be able to drink Saison Sally - and not have to listen to her.

Pours a clear yellow with fine foam.
Smell is spicy and a bit yeasty with hints of banana.
Taste is fairly bitter, with plenty of yeast and peppery notes, and just a hint of apples.
Mouthfeel is medium with bubbly carbonation.
Overall, a good saison, a bit on the bitter side.

Golden color with a thick off-white head with eternal retention and leaving good laces.
Aroma with predominant notes of tangerines, vanilla, pineapple and strawberries.
Sweet flavor with notes of honey, orange marmalade, floral and herbal hops, white wine, hay, cloves and apricot. Dry, half bitter and slightly alcoholic aftertaste.
Light body with effervescent carbonation. Alcohol of 6.8% is felt a bit.
Not standard Saison, slightly less complex and with fewer phenols for the style, but it has some elegant flavors that went well together.
