Like a perfect summer swell rolling through your favorite break, Summer Visit comes in bright and bold. Bursting with waves of Meyer lemon, grapefruit, and a hint of papaya skin, this brew pops with citrus character and a crisp, refreshing finish. The ride mellows into classic West Coast territory with a resinous, earthy pine bite and just a kiss of biscuit malt for balance. Clean, crushable, and full of flavor—this one slaps harder than a rogue set on a glassy day.

Canned 7/2/25, consumed from a tall pilsner glass 7/21. One of the better ones out of the recent offerings from PP (IMO). Beautiful, crystal clear brilliant light gold topped by a solid 3-finger white head that slowly recedes, leaving a big lumpy island of foam and lots of sticky lacing. Smell = flavor: Tropical fruit with a hint of stone fruit and a suggestion of dank/ pine. Mild bitterness.Relatively heavy body with mild carbonation in the mouthfeel.

Think I should've tried this fresher based on the other reviews. I was quite underwhelmed by PP standards, and have felt that about the last several seasonal IPAs.

Clear bright amber brew with abundant foam in the Trappiste Rochefort chalice. Papaya in the nose with orange. Fabulously fruity with quite moderate bitterness. Flavors of mango, orange, and a lime peel finish. Pleasing sweetness with just the right amount of bitterness. Hops are Citra, Strata, Chinook, and Crystal. Another winning combination from Pizza Port. From the 16 oz can purchased at Bine Y Vine. Dated 5/22/2025 so it's just a month old. I am going to the local PP for a six of this.

Packaged on 5/14/25 - enjoyed on 5/24/25. Poured from a pint can into my Dogfish Head shaped pint glass.
Nearly clear golden amber body with a fat fist of papaya whip stiff peaks creeping out of the glass. Thick, rocky lacing; superior retention.
Hop forward nose suffused with orange zest/blossom and lower notes of papaya, lime, and forest floor.
Citrus forward palate entry, followed by woodsy/herbal notes, and a kiss of lime along with the clean crackery malt base. Neutral yeast. Moderate but smooth bitterness. Medium-dry faintly earthy finish.
Medium bodied, creamy yet zesty with plenty of carbonation.
Another pleasant seasonal Swami's variant.

Bought a 6-pack of tall cans yesterday while at SB and here I find myself again but today this beer was freshly tapped for the release so I went for it. Another stellar hop bill for their latest seasonal IPA. Citra, Strata, Chinook, Crystal. This one is dank but citrusy and bright. Pleasant bitterness and super refreshing.
After a few cans from that six pack, confirming that this is indeed delicious whether from the can or from draft!
